1st game of pre-season, u23s playing the 2nd half, some of whom only signed yesterday Still. Losing to Spennymoor isn't a great look.
Just found this on FB, so thought I would share... Spennymoor 2-2 Sunderland What a cracking day out. Sunderland’s first team were in control for the first 45. Winchester joined our only 2 defenders to make up a back 3. O’Brien edged us in front after the goalkeeper fumbled a deep raking cross from Ross Stewart. Performances of note came from Embleton, Gooch and Stewart. The entire team was withdrawn at HT as we switched to the under 23s. After two quick fire Spennymoor goals, Ellis Taylor levelled with a cracker of a strike. The new lad, Dyce, stood out at left back for me. Speakman sat right by us in the first half and intimated that players are coming - hopefully 3 next week - but wouldn’t reveal who. I pressed him about Galbraith and he said he won’t name names but he’s working hard and won’t let us down. At half time I had a chat with LJ and he said O’Nien is staying (you may have seen this on Twitter already). Before kick off a Sunderland fan shouted LJ over and when he arrived the bloke shouted “Piss Off” right in his face. Shameful behaviour. Many of the players sat/stood around us for the second half before heading into the director suite. Bailey Wright, however, stayed and entertained all of the younger fans for the remainder of the game. What a geezer. Lovely day out and nice to be back at an away game. HAWAY THE LADS!
some of our fans are ****ing thick, disgusting and wants banning from any games that proper supporters can watch
Nice little find that. Cheers We have a minority of utter bellends in our support. Why go to a match, shout the gaffer over then say that to him? Utterly moronic behavior. I really hope someone had a go at the ****ing **** stain of a 'fan'
Dunno if it's been mentioned already, but didn't see any reference to Kimpioka yesterday? He played the final for Torquay, so presumably he's fit. Anyone heard owt?
