Or he could be made Captain followed by a contract extension. Or he could be made Captain and leave for free in a years time, paving the way for Super Oriol to be Captian. Or another player.
Exactly. Why on earth wouldn't you honour the service Maya has given over the years by making him captain, even if he doesn't end up staying, or even being first choice CB?
I'm expecting really good things from Sofiane this season. Last season, amidst the carried injuries, we had a glimpse of what he could do. A couple of spectacular goals and some fantastic tricks to beat the opponent. We'll see what a fully fit Boufal can do this time.

I do like these videos where the players are filming, gives a much better idea of a players personality than the normal short interviews. Much easier to get behind the team if you feel like you know them. hope the club keep making these.
Incredible ability with the ball. If he can put that skill together with good decision making, then we could have a truly exceptional player on our hands.
