Jobe coming out of the team shouldn't even be a consideration as long as he comes back from internationals ready to go. Nobody in our team brings what he does.

I can see all this leading to punch ups <laugh>

Can't we go back to the good old days when we couldn't decide who was the most useless and why they should be dropped then never picked again.

It was only earlier this year that was the case

Things can change quickly in football, that’s why we should enjoy our current form

I can see the value of the lad, he's been class, a world away from last season. I anticipated it given he just needed to brush up on how quick he was to release the ball, which always had something to do with our dour tactics.

Surely Le Bris does what he wants? He'll know Jobe can't play them all with the talent we've signed alone, nevermind Jobe's own benefit.

You’d like to hope so mate. I’m trying not to bring up a certain clause in contracts, we’ll leave it at that <laugh>

I wouldn't change anyone from the starting 11 it's their place to lose and the substitutes place to gain if they get on.
We all know it's a squad game now and the squad need to be right on it to maintain their team place.....Bring it on.

I've thought about this season and, although I'd obviously accept automatic promotion, I'd prefer Wembley ...

... winning the final would be great but even a glorious loss wouldn't kill me.

Whatever the case it would mean we've had a much better season than we expected and the players have all gelled.

We'd be in a position whereby we've made money but aren't counting on parachute payments, would retain most of the squad and have another year's experience under our belts. We'd also be building our reputation, with loads of TV exposure like we did during the last play-off escapade, so likely to attract yet more ambitious players.

Going up with this team/squad might be a little too early although I know people hate that concept. I just think another year of experience for this team would make them much harder to beat imo. In the meantime I'm going to forget about final placings and just enjoy what we're seeing. It's not built on adrenalin or sand like it was under Peter Reid, Mowbray, etc.

I'm not getting carried away with the whole season but totally carried away with the Plymouth match.

I've said before that, if we carry on with this style of play, we'll beat someone by 5, 6 or 7 ...

... I'd quite like to see Rooney's miserable face, for a change, if it's Plymouth <laugh>

I'd prefer that we ran away with the league personally Smug, get your point about winning the play-offs at Wembley though.

To be honest, in many ways I also think that this might be a year early for the ages of so many of the squad, but if we fall just short we are likely to lose a good few to the Premier League, which would mean a major overhaul again next summer, albeit with a lot of money to play with.

Got a bit of a soft spot for Plymouth but will gladly set that aside given they've appointed Rooney.

No harm in going up then going down.

We've so much talent at such young ages that there is a possibility with sensible investment we could stay up.

But I'm gonna stop talking about it now because we look silly.

If we don't go up this season, we'll lose a couple of players in the summer. So I'd prefer us to get promoted one way or another.

I don't think it will be a catastrophe if we don't, but I don't want to see Rigg etc leaving if we can avoid it

If we get promoted (trying not to get carried away), then I think our young squad might surprise a few people and do ok in the premier League.

Sometimes perhaps but it can cause lots of harm.

Burnley and Luton look a shambles and important players have scarpered because they've tasted the PL and don't fancy Rotherham on a February Friday night ...

... some, like Norwich, cop the parachute money three of four times and never seem to get anywhere.

It's a conundrum whichever way you look at it.

I'm not sure we'll keep them all even if we go up ...

... we can't pay Rigg what he's worth tbh.

He'll leave eventually, no doubt (aside from miracle). However, promotion could give us an extra season to watch him in red n white and allow us to sell him for much more

I'd love that to be the case but I'm not convinced ...

... I'm just trying to get to every game I can while he's here.
