Thanks for putting just that part of the video up BRB, i often forget how good that day was until the last 5 minutes!

Im not confident and Stoke play conference style football which won't suit us!

    Gills 1 - 3 Stoke

No confidence at all, Stoke are a good side these day and are starting to play some good football on the floor. I fear Ethrington could pull our makeshift back four apart (assuming he plays of couruse)

    Gills 0 - 4 Potters (Jones x3, Crouch)

You have more chance of being bit by a dinosaur than Diao scoring!

  6. I hope Diao is not in the Squad let alone the pitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If he he wll not score. He still nearly missed that open goal at Portsmouth

having been subjected to the footballing talents of diao before (at liverpool) his inclusion as a goalscorer was ironic. its far more likely that he would deflect a shot in off the referee. but only if the ref was at at least a 30 degree angle wide of goal

Man I want to be wrong about this...

    Gillingham 1 Stoke 3 (Weston, Jones, Jerome x 2)

The problem we have is that whilst most League 2 vs Premier League games would consist of the weaker side battering opponents in difficult conditions, with a small ground, and somewhat intimidating fans, we forget that Pulis has always built his teams on solid foundations, a fantastic work ethic, and most importantly, physical strength. We would be playing them at their own game.

I can see a fair few changes for Stoke but in many positions its debatable who our best player is. Players like Kenwyn Jones, Rory Delap, Dean Whitehead, Cameron Jerome, Matty Upson and Begovic should all arguably be starting in any case. And other 'squad' players such as Diao, Soares and Arismendi could also feature and they've all done ok in European matches when called upon.

Even though I know Stoke should win I can't help but dread this game after being mentally scarred when Rob 'I hate Stoke' Styles awarded the game to Gillingham on that awful night about 12 years or so ago!

    Gills 0 Stoke 1 (Jones)

I hope we give Tony Pulis a genuine Gills welcome as he has been the best Gills manager to date.
    Hessy.......there's a challenge for you.

BRB - you seem to want to carry on your squabble with one of your own - Hoadie, on this board.

From this and your track record on this (and other) boards you appear to believe that you are some kind of Sage, the Gandalf of Gillingham.

You are not, you are an extremely tedious, self-opinionated, bully boy, and a bore.

I for one will be glad when our tie with Gillingham is over and done with, so you never infest the Stoke board again.

Don't bother replying sonny jim, you are on my 'ignore' list - fame at last eh?

Can someone please explain precisely where I have squabbled with Hoadie on the Stoke board?
Maybe you are confused with someone else's comments!

As you feel like that I will remove my Pre Match thread from your board, the other two are Hoadie's so I will leave them and keep off them.

Hoadie and Brb can often be seen dancing a little Waltz together after Gills victories to backing vocals from the Rainham End. If you listen carefully on Sat you may hear this ...promise
