    Friday evening we had some pork ribs, with IPA and Akavit. The Akavit is a great healer of the fatty pork crackling.

    apparently the perfect tonic for the toad oxford dry gin is fever tree naturallylight tonic water
    perfect garnishes are angelica or lemon zest

    It's a herb, also called wild celery, it gives a sort of earthy taste to things.


    Often used in cooking.

    I don't like the taste of it much
