The 18-year-old’s dad, former St Johnstone keeper Alan Main, and mum Ann-marie launched the internet fundraising bid for Brain Tumour UK. Lennon yesterday re-tweeted details posted about the appeal by his followers on Twitter. Old Firm fans have tweeted about it and have put links on fans’ websites. Surely a mope is someone who complains about the sickness of jokes, not just those who wish others well
I'm not sure what the definition is, I suspect it's flexibile in it's usage like the much overused "Legend" when describing journeymen pros from a bygone era. I have seen people call others mopes for posting threads similar to this so it was no stretch of the imagination to suspect that some may consider me mopey for voicing such an opinion, and as one who always likes to cover his back in case of future accusations, I just wanted to be clear.
