Now, by no means did I want PP to stay, however, after his last game:

We are further off where we want to be. Both have had the same set of results really.

Why do you think this is despite better performances?
 
As much as it's a results business, the performances are still exponentially better, with the only exception being the soporific loss at Sheffield United, which was a case of more of the same as PP, TC, QSF even!
I'm not quite sure how he coaches out the errors (I know, and claim to know SFA about coaching football) but again this was what undid Watford yesterday.
For all my moaning about the officials, it really wasn't their fault we lost. Kyp made a shocking error getting caught in the reverse sweeper position (vis Louza at home to PNE) and again, almost a collective switch off for the other.
But, overall, it looks and feels a lot more positive.

I think that our mistakes have been punished, whereas with PP maybe they were not.

My one criticism of Watford (and this has not changed from PP, and is something that predates PP as well), we don't shoot enough. Getting to the byline and cutting back is a good source of chances, but so is 'having a dig' (especially on a night like last night - weather!!!) We seem to want to walk the ball in - I am not saying adopt a shoot-on-site policy, but when the defence opens up, as ours did for Paik's goal, have a go, make sure it is on target and there is a chance of a rebound or anything!!. That same situation that we conceded from has happened at least five times under Javi and we have declined to take the shot, preferring to check back or play a pass.

When Baah was fit and in form his goals or penalties were from going direct at defenders and shooting at 45% angle to the goal or being taken out by a desperate defender before he could shoot, only problem is the number of injuries he has had

Now with Georgi fit and Maamma showing what he can do would Baah and Vata be first choices when they are fit again or would they be used as impact players with 30 minutes left

Lets hope that what was said at the fans meeting about Javi was true and he will be given this year to sort out the squad and next year to really go for promotion, otherwise we can only hope a billionaire takes an interest in us and buys promotion

In real terms a billionaire spending £750m to get us established in the Prem is no different to a millionaire ie Elton spending £750 thousand to go from Division 4 to being established Division 1

Very true, HHTFC. Although I think that has improved under Javi. The 'hold possession rather than chance your arm' mantra sends to have diminished quite a bit, IMHO. I think that's why we are so much easier to watch.

Much better ball distribution...and leading to a couple of great goals last month.

I think we look more dangerous and potentially create better chances but we are picking up injuries now and lacking consistency up front .

The evidence is in front of your eyes.
There are clear formations and systems, players playing in their correct positions, coaching & tweaking going on throughout the matches, the players have bought into Gracia in a way they never did under the previous coach and so have the majority of fans.

I can't tell you how refreshing it is to hear your thoughts, Chris. I recently made the mistake of reading a bit of WFCForums and the utter tripe from the various bozos on those boards is frightening. You read it thinking, "Is everyone ****ing mad?"
Your common sense, thankfully, has restored my faith in WFC fans.

That is if they have seen it or not made their minds up before hand .

Anyway apparently Bayat /Gino /Nani (again seems to depend on who says it ) pick the team allegedly so doesn’t matter who the manager is.

Funny thing is though fans want to see Dwomoh ,Petris and Mendys in the line up - all connected to Mogi so he obviously isn’t involved !
