I think the ES article pretty much sums it up, though it could have been headed "footballer factory" rather than "football factory. It confirms what I posted earlier--we are exchanging continuity for stability and a degree of our traditional identity for a role in a larger enterprise. But the Pozzo's are not daft , and in their public statements and in the way they run the club will try to keep the fans on board. The "carousel" of players could become a source of controversy if results are only average. (In the past we would have accepted "average").
