Poyet went for the Reading job and had an interview, just as Taylor did with us. Brighton were not impressed even though he decided to withdraw and stay where he was. Brighton were in a very difficult position with the play offs in the offing at that time. Making that comment after the game when he was understandably upset was ridiculous and in my view it was totally disrespectful to his club. The first team coachs have both been suspended to and 6 players have also been released. Sounds an unhappy ship to me!. I am off to the Amex with Bognor Regis Town tomorrow for the Sussex Senior cup final, against Brighton.
Apparently someone had a ****e in the away dressing room at the game vs Palace http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...et-to-call-police-over-dressing-room-poo.html
Not really. As far as the outside world were concerned we never got above plucky little underdog that was massively over performing and were doomed to return to lower league obscurity sooner or later because of our rapid rise, but we were a nice story whilst it was happening. Even with Swansea all the coverage is about how good their rise up the leagues has been and how they're a model of how a club should be run. With Brighton it seems to be ignored where they've come from because the whole world seems to be having a competition to see who can **** over them the most like they're a massive club that in 3 or 4 years is going to be challenging Barca and Bayern for the Champions League title. In one sense it's annoying because it's elevating them above the position they've earnt, and in another it's annoying because it's virtually erasing their climb from tinpot club in a ****hole of a ground that they didn't own and wasn't even in their own town to where they are now. That's something their fans should be enjoying and all the players and management involved in it should be getting praised for but they're just being ignored. We got the whole "remarkable story" being covered by everyone when we made te same climb, they're just getting "have you seen they're really good".
