Do we really want to sign a 33 year old who has a history of injuries to play in the middle of the park? I know Dailly has played beyond his years but I'm not convinced a midfielder can do the same

I agree that they're both a bit over-rated but I'd still hate to see Semedo go, and if he does go I'd rather it were abroad. He has a habit of being a real pain in the backside towards the opposition, and I'd hate for our fans to start booing him, although that would be a dead cert if he signed for Palace. Strangely I've heard next to nothing about Racon?

Gavin Rae for a squad role isn't bad. He is the wrong side of 30 and you'd guess the next move will be his last club. That said, he was always a competent footballer. Would rather him as back up than McOxo.

As for Semedo, I wouldn't mind if he stayed but again, has to be more of a squad role as for me personally he didn't stamp his mark on many games last season (controversial?). Shadow of the player we saw in our play off push.

Epsom, true he is injury prone and getting on a bit, but they say with age, your vision and tactical awareness improve, and god we all know how much we've needed a creative centre mid in recent times, so perhaps he can be the one, at least just until we get out of this League.

Not controversial at all Super, I agree (and I'm sure many others on here would) that Semedo really didn't live up to our expectations this season, and Racon hasn't done so for a couple of years. Although saying that, the games in which Semedo was captain were some of his best performances, it seemed he really felt the importance of the role.

It's strange, as much as Semedo has been more consistent than Racon, I would rather keep the latter. Racon needs a boot up his backside, but when he is on song he is a real joy to watch.

That is true, but to me the difference between the two is that when Racon is on the ball your just waiting for him to make a mistake, which happens more often than not. He is class though and if it weren't for the physical nature of this league he'd probably be one of our best players.

We've achieved absolutely nothing with Racon and Semedo so i wouldn't shed a tear for either if they do depart.

I would however like to see Semedo stay, but only to play centre half. Imo he's not a good enough footballer to command a regular start at CM for us.
