    would have loved us to buy gerrard instead of hobbs but pearson likes certain players for his own reasons..

    macheda would be a great loan signing for most premier league teams let alone a championship team. no chance there im afraid.

    Kilgallon is one of those 'ever-present' city transfer links. His name must have been touted every window for the past 5 years, a bit like Rowan Vine before we actually got him.

    Pity that Steffan Maierhoffer 29yr old - 6ft 7" tall (wolvers) is talking with Salzburg-Austria. He would have been a great summer signing. Big and strong.

    But there is Sam Baldock @ MK Dons who has 4 league goals, Ryan Lowe @ Bury and ALF @ Rotherham who both have 3 league goals.

    Non of them would be overly expensive on transfer fees and wages.


    NO NO NO on Kilgallon please. Citys needs are furher up the pitch. Macheda is quite possible as SAF and Joycie know NP and Hull City very well. We have history already. You never know.
