Potential Formation?

Agreed. People thikn because of his size he can be a big DM enforcer for us, but he's nothig like that. He's another Gardner or Folan, built like a brick ****house but also a huge fanny.

I don't get the DM thing either. We haven't seen much of him but I don't remember thinking he put a lot of tackles in when we did see him. On the other hand he scored 14 goals in a season for Wolves in this division before we were first linked with him, so I would have thought he was more of an attacking midfielder if we wanted to get results from him, and as an attacking midfielder I'd rather have Koren or Cairney (I'd like to see him playing further forward when we're 442 than he does though).

With all players back and injury free

I am very excited! and thats a team that can win promotion.

Oli? No. Gotta be McKenna or TC.

Without Cam, it may be Pusic?

I think we all pretty much agree on the back four and the wingers (Brady and Stewart).

The strikers generally mix and match, I don't have a firm favourite pairing myself out of Fryatt/Mclean/Waggy.

The small differences come in the centre. I think we can agree that it should probably depend on the game, if we want to be more defensive we could have Evans/McKenna and Koren in the middle, if we want to be a little more attacking we could have Koren and Cairney. I suppose there is always another option of something like:

---McKenna---Koren---Cairney---
-Stewart------------------Brady-
-------------Waghorn------------

or

-------------Evans-------------
------Cairney------Koren-------
-Stewart----------------Brady-
------------Fryatt-------------

It will be a nice selection dilemma for NP when everyone is fit

Oli runs alot, passes well and hits the odd wonder strike, but bottles tackles, definately not a holding midfielder. My first choice would be McKenna, a hell of a signing in my opinion. Cairney has looked miles better playing alongside him, he controls the games, covers grounds, directs the team, and is always on the ref. For me our strongest team (all fit) is:

Basso
Roseinor, Chester, Hobbs, Dudgeon
Brady, McKenna, Koren/Cairney, Stewart
Fryatt, Waghorn

(would pick Koren at home Cairney away or when we need to be more defensive)

Subs: Gulasci, McShane, Evans, Cairney/Koren, Barmby

(gives cover for defence, options for midfield, and Barmby can play upfront, or could push Brady or Stewart up top)

SPOT ON THERE. 100% agree with you. If Oli comes back fit and raring to go and is 100% commited to the cause then there will be no stopping City. imo. It also shows just what a quality squad NP has at his disposal when everyone is fir and healthy.
