too soonI wish I wasn't on FB because drinking and FB don't mix.Eire has a great point and think a closed group is a great idea. There are some regular guys on twitter who have packed it in because too many are piling in and it goes public in minutes. These guys then take abuse and have decided to not do it anymore except to a closed group. I wont use facebook so not in the loop now
Now who would be in the group of possible "grasses" who would stitch their mates up?Well not the ones left on heretoo soon

Exactly. A reliable lad on twitter has stopped doing them as his last effort was shut down after a few minutes. That was idea of this thread. To make everyone aware it needs to be carefully doneEire unfortunately there are people who have shared links after being told not to, which results in them being shut down.![]()
But that’s not even the point Eric. It’s someone for example innocently resharing a thread they’ve seen here, on their own Facebook page or another forum, it’s spotted and shut down. Then everyone’s upset without realising how it’s happenedNow who would be in the group of possible "grasses" who would stitch their mates up?
I think we have to accept that it is worth somebodies while tracking the streams and closing them down, It's not one of us but monitoring IP addresses etc, sorry I'm not tech savvy, would enable organisations to identify the streams and shut them off. It's their business and income stream that is being affected so they, the owners of the coverage, will do what is cost effective to close illicit streams down. But that’s not even the point Eric. Agreed but no need for us to make it easy for themI think we have to accept that it is worth somebodies while tracking the streams and closing them down, It's not one of us but monitoring IP addresses etc, sorry I'm not tech savvy, would enable organisations to identify the streams and shut them off. Simple to sort if people are up for it. We set up a group on DMs and only the members named can access the DMs. Any streams we get are posted in the closed group DM and then we can go off and use them on our own kit without twittering the world that you have one. i have used 3 sources for a couple of seasons and all were great and usually on youtube. All 3 have now binned it because they get closed down within minutes because someone and probably loads of people have tweeted the link out and bosh gone. My guys have all said no more and to be fair these are fans who pay for their own kit and sometimes pay for view and give the rest of us the benefit of their paid for link free of charge.
Danger mouseI'm on board with all of it..... but what is a DM? Did you mean PM or is it me being a technophobe again?
If so, please can I be in the group?
