    IT illiterate seeking answers.

    I've been on this site for a long time and have never had an avatar. That's mainly because I haven't got a ****ing clue how to do it. I asked Luv to do it for me, but he told me only I could post my own. Could someone please provide me with an imbecile-proof step-by-step guide to doing it? I'd be most appreciative. Thanks in hope, rather expectation <laugh>

    Click on your username Top R
    Click on Personal Details on L.
    Click on Avatar.

    You need to have an image that you want to use on file somewhere and you can find it and upload it.

    CLICK ON YOUR NAME TOP RIGHT THEN CLICK WHERE IT SAYS TO CHANGE YOUR AVATAR NEXT TO THE PICTURE THEN FIND THE PIC YOU WANT.

    this has to be a wind up but just in case its not

    1.Save the Pic you want to use as your avatar on your laptop.
    2.Open your profile by clicking on the Red Hadron Collider just to the left of the PM symbol then click on "open profile page"
    3. Click on your existing (non)avatar
    4. Then navigate to where you stored the pic you want as avatar and select it.

    1. Locate the photo you want as your avatar in your phone.
    2.

    I can do 1. but have no idea how or where I save it to transmit to this site

    I (amongst others) gave very simple instructions. They were for a PC, and it might be different on your phone depending on the operating system, but the basic principles are the same.
    The only problem I can foresee is if you don't know how to find the image once you've opened the upload dialogue.
