    dinnys a legend here , the city is split on roy but im in the roy camp , drank with his brother for years got a signed beer mat to my now 8 yr old daughter but unborn at the time off roy , the boys asked him to sign it wishing me luck with the baby as a piss take knowing im a liverpool man , still has pride of place wrapped in plastic

    Don't blame you on Irwin, class player who never made any headlines. As for Keano, though he was a top player and I'll never forget what he did for United, I can't say I like him. He's slagged us off a fair bit since he left. Brilliant player though, and a born winner.

    i do ...and am telling you different , i drank with his brother up til 2 yrs ago , anytime roy came home as a player he shut down a pub called the mountain for a good few hours where no one was allowed drink and laid on sweets , fizzy drinks etc for the kids posing for photos and signing shirts etc. then once the smallies ****ed off it was pool or darts and a round for the house , top bloke and it wasnt publicity because there was none if you were a mountain regular you knew about it if not you prob didnt even know roy was home
