Probably combination of
getting access to site, I got locked out for about a year and lost the habit even just for prediction league.
Repitition - every footy thread I read seems to end up in arguments about Holloway, finances or just generally how sh,t we are. Not feeling the QPR love! :-)
Also every time I try to post, something goes wrong so I just give up - playing up now but back button saving me!

Recently the QPR content on here seems to have become less than the various off topic threads, and even match day threads sometimes seem to spor off to other Clubs, other sports, or even what America is like or not like on one recent game. Have started reading LOFW more because of the many more and much longer threads about QPR, but I prefer the format on here.

Do you mods have a list of all members, past and present, of this board? If so, I assume you have their contact email addresses that they signed up with. Send a nice "We miss you" email to any older, missing posters and invite them back into the fold.....

No we don't have access to members email or addresses Monkey. We don't have a list either. Only the 'SuperMods' have access to emails and these don't get disclosed to anyone under any circumstances.

Fair enough 999s - just an idea. Maybe we need to have a recruitment drive.

I've been here since we crossed over from the Beeb site, enjoy reading everyones views, both football and off-topic, but there hasn't been many new posters in the last couple of years.

There was a problem with the site a while back where new subscribers didn't get an email to activate there account but that's fixed now.

I chat to Sussex and Judo at every home game. Sussex doesn't even think about not606 or posting on here anymore, Judo has found love and is too busy pursuing his career to find time time to post on here. They are father and son in case anyone didn't know.

Yes I normally see them en-route to Clapham with the rest of our 'South of the river' gang.

You can have my e-mail because nobody ever writes to me and I never get invited to partys.
Good thread, btw, we are QPR! ( (even TeD whom I am happy to have blocked) hope he's blocked me too.)

PS. I still miss Marvin! Give us a shout mate!

Queens is an infrequent poster, Sussex and Judo also not around.
Cat or was it Kat too, the other lady poster is not around
I know Finglas has on his own accord l disappeared too.

I know it is also a bit hard to get on here now, so as we lose people, it is difficult to replace them

I am still here Beth, I got locked out for a long time after my iPad died and could not get signed back in.

I never did post much, usually after too many vodkas on a Friday night when I thought I was posting something really interesting, that turned out on a Saturday morning to be rather dull

As an un-named infrequent poster, the off topics are sometimes are a bit too much.

Trouble is with allowing them is, the ones you like are great. (music, puns, jokes)

Even handed moderation helps and seems to have improved, just thinking of swords.....

I'd like to see Quality Passing Rules give us a hello. Another missing in action.

Whilst I miss other's posting I have accepted this board as a bit like a bus ride. There are times when the conversations and topics flow and there will be times when the same topic will seem to be recycled. Since I have posted I have been employed, been unemployed and been employed again, have seen family in and out of hospital - almost like a tag team - one gets ill then better then someone else goes into hospital to take their place - however this is and YOU are all part of my QPR family.....even though I have knowingly never met any of you but wouldn't put it past me to have stood or sat next to you either at Lotfus Road or in one of the nearby pubs. Hopefully the missing in action posters check in from time to time - however this is a bloody good forum with many unique perspectives on many different topics.
Keep on posting and checking in

Quality Passing Rules was a great contributor to this board but decided to bail out when he had a set to with another poster, Peter Damage. Quality decided that he didn't want to post on here anymore despite my attempts to coax him back. ( Despite my knowing him personally, lovely bloke, I even paid for his play-off final tickets. ) Posters come and go, that's life. Peter Damage I don't care for, he was a wrong 'un as far as I'm concerned.

I remember my first post on here, it was about my admiration for this special QPR community, for all of you helping each other out for tickets for the play off finals!

I was so impressed how virtual strangers came together to help each other out to get tickets.

I, as an observer at that time (some may say a stalker) was so impressed by how you all came together and provided tickets for people you only knew as a member of this forum!

I think as I said at the time, made me proud to be one of you, a QPR supporter!

Oh dear far too much vodka drunk tonight I guess I will now go quiet for a bit!

I've noticed that quite a few of our regular posters have gone missing, Hoops Eternal, Kilburn, Didley Squat (Aussie) to name a few.

Hope everything is okay fellas and you start to post again.
Kilburn was last on here yesterday at 2:26 am. He never posted anything though. His last post was on March 26th.

Hoops Eternal was last seen on here on November 25th last year. I haven't seen him at the Rangers recently either.

Aussie was last on here on January 6th.

Hammersmith Junior was last seen on here in June last year.

Shawswood was last seen on March 15th.

ColdharbourR was another regular contributor and hasn't been seen since February 2016.

Does anyone remember Wandle Ranger? He hasn't posted since 2014 but does look in on here from time to time without posting. I've met him a few times and his a lovely man. He used to give his QPR goodies to my daughters. So if you read this mate, I hope all is well.
All's well with Hoops Eternal (dad) chaps, though he'll be pleased to hear you've asked after him. I think he got a bit fed up with one or two posters, which is why he's not about on here any more.

We've also not been down this season, his work pattern has changed a bit and makes getting down from Norfolk difficult. A combination of our performances over the last few seasons and a big day for me in September, means I'm not very motivated to shell out on trains, tickets etc either.

I'll be sure to let him know he's missed!

Well done, 9's I know he appreciated that. Staines arranged mine for me. Both of you are class for doing that, memories that will last forever. I think I even met you that day.

I thought it was Swords he fell out with, didn't see the thing with Damage. Shame as it would good to have him back.
