As he's been injured we haven't seen him in preseason yet. I think the general idea is that he will be saved for bigger games.

You've done well against us when you've been in the PL. I think you'll give us a much tougher game than people are expecting. I expect Villa to be routine given their exploits at the Emirates.

Seems to me that these 4 are probably being seen as the wide 2 players in an attacking 4 with Mata and Oscar competing for number 10 behind a striker. This wont be rigid of course and I think we'll see a lot of rotation especially during the first few months of the season as we work out our best 11. Loving the options. This team seems young and hungry with buckets of pace as well. Good times!!
Good question. Very good question in fact. Probably warrants it's own thread. He's not really been missed on the field so far during pre-season. He will deployed more on the basis of experience required, rather than role, although he will of course be played in CM. You're looking at champs league games in CM.
Hi guys, Just a quickie thought it'd be better to post here than make a thread. With Mourinhos comments recently about playing to suit Torres do you think he will be first choice? I think Lukaku is an absolute monster and would be amazed if Torres was picked ahead of him but Mourinho seems to be doing a lot of talking about Torres like he's your first choice.
Like Benzema and Higuain. Arguably GH was more clinical, but Mourinho had his favourite KB starting most games. My front line-up would be: Rooney Hazard-Mata-Schurrle Oscar-Van Ginkel
