Where do you rate Wilson?

Who are our best? Ba, Remy, Cisse

Ba was absolutely incredible for us, Remy was just as good.

Wilson has that potential, he's marvellous. He needs more opportunities, more through balls.

Say what you want about Pardew, when he had a top talent, he fed that talent well.

 

Until he decided to be a ballbag with his greatest talent

 

BA and Wilson are head and shoulders.
The other strikers... when they have ball at feet bearing down on goal.. you HOPE they may get a shot in.

with BA and Wilson you think they will score.

For a season or two Arfa was brilliant

 

That first half season from cisse is probably the best I've seen since shearer, was harder for him not to score

 

Remy was exceptional.

Then again Wilson is scoring almost everytime he plays

 

Remy had that too like.

Cisse did for his 1st half season then he went to ****

 

Cisse was the most disappointing player ever.

Utter class to utter donkey.

Just could not stay on side, all instinct zero brains.

 

What about Martin's? Level below those mentioned? I thought he was **** but lots seemed to rate him

Then there's ratboy Owen

 

Classic flair player, we love a flair player.

Didn't score enough for me


Owen is a vile ****

 

Martins was SO infuriating to watch, able to score brilliant goals, but half the time not bothered and messing up all our chances and losing possession constantly. His goal tally is misleading cos he was greedy and hogged everything that came his way.

And Owen was the world's biggest ****, nothing but hate for him.

Carroll and Gayle, both great in the champ, both dire in the Prem. Cisse was good for 3 months then atrocious afterwards. Mitro is decent but nothing more, same as Lovenkrands who was very likeable but not a Prem player.

So post Shearer - Ba, Remy and Wilson are the clear standouts.

 

Demba ba was absolute class. I had the honour of speaking to him in a Italian restaurant. I spotted him and I said to the missus that’s demba.

He wasn’t even eating he was just there and I said to him hope you stay mate. Shook his hand.

He said “I want to stay, I love the people”.

That stuck with me.

Ba was easily the best all round. Wilson is real good tho. Just wish we could play some more attacking football to get him more chances. He's taking everything at the mo

Apart from Cisse ( who was a world-beater for a few months and poor thereafter ), none of the other the other contenders managed more than about 50 PL games for us - which says a lot about this club's status these past dozen years.
