So 4-3-3 only a week late with that then. I would be happy with 3 at the back against Fulham so we can fly at them from the off and keep them pinned in their own half, but against Arsenal it was suicide.
Agreed. I'm happy to have any two of our defenders starting and the other two on the bench. Its really about which partnership plays the best and the room for error is marginal. Very happy about the 4 at the back. Other than Cissokho I'd say this is the closest we've had to our strongest lineup in a long time. Even Cissokho might be better in a 4-3-3. Or a 4-4-2 diamond depending on how we play. Please show BR not to mess with this formation anymore today lads!
If we don't win, we will all start claiming that 3 at the back is best and we always believed in it. Not really.
just back in from a trip to the parents. very pleasantly surprised by the selection. Sahko made a couple of mistakes so no harm sitting out and watching for a change. he can learn a lot about the system watching too. enrique back at least puts pressure on cissohko to redeem himself. In short i this this is our best team bar cissohko so i expect a win here, no question. I want a performance... big time.
