I'd go to that as it'd be good to add St Mary's to my list. However, I don't want to be beaten up/stabbed by some pikey Southampton fan (not saying anyone here is, or even the majority of Southampton fans are, but all clubs have a pikey element, including us) so I may pass..
Surprised at this. Ticket info is a bit vague. What if the Itchen Stand fills up? Is there pay on the day? Open to sale for those not on the database? (ie, PFC fans?) Are Pompey getting an allocation? Where are we mobbing up before the game? I need answers.
Tickets are on sale tomorrow from ticket office/online so...non-segregated seating? Seems like asking for trouble. But I have no idea whether the gate will be 250 or 25000.
Any announcement from the Pompey side or are they keeping it low key? Shame the club are not letting season ticket holders watch for free, but I wouldn't expect that from Cortese. It's the one small black mark against his regime that when he has the opportunity to give season ticket holders a small reward or gesture it's often passed up. There were some free for all u21 games last season at St. Marys but these seem to have been dropped
This has been brought up before. It's nothing to do with Cortese not offering season ticket holders free entry, because it's an FA competition the hosting club has to charge an entrance fee. Not sure why the club are not putting on any U21 games at the stadium this season though, although according to the fixture list the last home game for the U21s against Newcastle in April is at St Marys.
I'm not, but had it been against the youth team from a top local side such as Bournemouth, Reading, Brighton or Yeovil I might have done. I can't be arsed to turn out to watch the youth team from a struggling, mediocre League Two side. I've never watched football at that level in my life and I have standards to maintain.
Not certain Saints will win. Pompey are doing well, whereas we have been getting mixed results. Different leagues I know, but winning can become a habit. saints must start in the right way and not assume they will win.
That's mostly because all of our youth players were busy holding Manchester City to a draw this weekend
