Possible points deduction for Millwall

Just read an article saying that after the behaviour of some Millwall fans during their 2-0 Cup defeat, the FA are investigating a possible 10 point deduction.

This would all but relegate them.

I can't imagine that could possibly happen as they are two very different competitions. What I can envisage happening, if the FA really wanted to, is a ban from the FA Cup for 1,2,3 seasons.
