I think Jakupovic is bizarrely over-rated. People think he's okay but he's **** (IMO).

He had a run of games where people were praising him, but it was mainly his ability to make simple saves look really difficult that made him look impressive. It seemed like he was making brilliant diving saves all the time but they were the kind of saves that Stockdale wouldn't even have to move for.

1?

Sorry. To clarify:-

I like the Yak as a bloke. Not as a Hull City Goalkeeper. I don't think he was good enough for us in the Championship. But I like him. I also like Beyoncé, but I wouldn't put her in goal (though she'd be better than Amos).

1, as in number 1, Goalkeeper. Whoever that may be.

Ok well have fun holding your breath!

Why? You asked for a reason he'd want to join us. I never said it was definite he would join us. If Arsenal get another keeper in as is thought he'll drop back down their pecking order and would surely want a move somewhere to play regular top flight football as that is the next step for a player in his position. That could be us, it could be a more established PL side, it could be a top flight side abroad. He'll look at the offers on the table when the time comes and chooses the one he most likes.

As we think we'll look at some Wigan players should they go down, how about Al-Habsi? He isn't playing today not sure if he's out of favour.

What happened to Craig Gordon ?

If he's played 13 games for arsenal and is now officially number 2 at arsenal, I'd be surprised to see him leave considering we couldn't sign him when he was 3rd choice.

He played well for us but he reminds me of mcshane or FC. Comes on loan from prem team, impresses during his spell, everyone ****s over him but then either doesn't sign (FC) or signs and isn't as good as when he was on loan (Mcshane).
He isn't what I would call solid either, very mistake-prone, don't know if I want a keeper that blows hot/ cold, I think i'd rather have a keeper that's consistent without ever being incredible.

We were in the Championship then, now we're in the PL. I specifically said that when a keeper has gone from regular football in the Championship to being a fringe/squad player in the PL the next step was regular top flight football. Last season we weren't a progression for him, now we are (although not necessarily the best progression that will be on offer).

He's 3rd choice behind Szczesny and Fabianski, and I said if Arsenal sign another keeper which they're supposed to be looking to do.
