3 points against Palace on Saturday and then hopefully off to see Marcus at Silksworth WC afterwards..Things will seem more positive after our first victory..

    Hopefully 3pts then we'll lift off -
Posted before QPR result - not at all sure there - both teams need a win so we need no mess ups - predict an unlikely Watmore x 3 :emoticon-0148-yes:
A positive prediction on a positive thread

Based on what i've seen so far this season mate, i'm not getting a good feeling re-Khazri. I know he's only had bit parts but he's been shocking so far and why does it seem to take our player pigging ages to get fit? most other teams hit the ground running whereas we always come out with excuses that this one needs time to bed in, this one has been away for preseason, etc, etc. Does my tits in that like.

He definitely makes mistakes for sure, i just think we play better as a team when he's in it.

We have seen what he can do, and at his best he can be a match winner, at his worst he can always be substituted.

I think there's a lot of over analysing here. To take a step back from individual performances and glace the bigger picture if you wil. Our team hasn't had long together the new players are fit but but Catts and Hoff are rusty returning from lay offs. Simple to me. The only players in question are those who confidence looks shot. That's Papy, I'd play him Wed night to see where his head is for the weekend. Everybody else just needs time to either regain fitness or get to know their teammates. On top of that virtually all but few need to get to know their gaffer and he wants from them. We just need to be patient and not panic, support the players and give them time.

Yeah, I've totally analysed some things here. My intention wasn't to detract from the positives that came from the game, because I think there were plenty and I agree with a lot of what people have said. What I was really trying to work out was why some players seem to be constantly criticised while others appear to me to be almost immune from criticism. I'm not trying to reignite the Cattermole debate here by the way, just explain my thinking.

Edit: that should say "totally over analysed"

Yeah I get ya fella, I'm not ready to pass too much judgement on anyone yet myself. I'm going to give it till after the Stoke game before I start asking questions of individuals.

When we sit as deep as we do the CMs are always going to struggle to keep their passing averages up. Too much pressure with little options. Once we improve as a team it will be easier to make out who truely isn't up to standard this season imo

    Totally agree mate..<ok>

I'm just a naggy ****er at the moment when we get beat but I see something good here with our team, yes there are a few heads down from players and fans alike but there is a bigger but in there somewhere.

I have faith in Moyes and if this goes tits up it won't be him I'm pointing the finger at by any means but likewise if it all takes off it won't be him I'm looking at and saying 'you lucky twat' either..

Fixtures look cool for the next few weeks, Palace is a big game in every way..

Imo btw, we are really missing Borini, never thought I'd say that but we really are missing that peroxide fairy haha!

We certainly do. We`ll be missing him until Boxing Day according to physio room.

Here`s the list. That`s a strange latest addition for PVA

P van Aanholt Muscle Fatigue No Return Date
    J Defoe Calf Injury September 24, 2016
P van Aanholt Heart Condition September 21, 2016
V Anichebe Thigh Strain No Return Date
    F Borini Groin Strain December 26, 2016
    V Mannone Elbow December 17, 2016
S Larsson MCL Knee Ligament Injury February 1, 2017
    B Jones Hip/Thigh Injury September 24, 2016

Doesn`t mention Khazri or Asoro. Thought they were both out.

Buggered if I know what`s going on with this lot now.

Physio room doesn't update daily, never really counts development squad players and is often incredibly inaccurate.. I don't use the site. I mean Borini, groin strain out till Christmas and Think it's a tad more serious than a strain. We have two PVA's playing for us according to that, both with different injuries<laugh>

Is there a better site somewhere? I know it`s poor but it`s the only one I know of.

I do hope the PvA twins are better soon. <doh>

If it was always accurate it would be. safc.com used to have an injury page but haven't bothered for years now.
