    Colback is Michael Carrick with the one exception, Colback never picks out the odd occassional wonder pass that splits a defence!

    Was this the run he got after Peter Beardsley fractured his cheekbone? If so that game was 94/95 season. That goal was 95/96, scored two winners against Liverpool in the same month including that one.

    Not sure. To be honest I'm not sure he ever scored more than two or three games in a row <laugh> Shak has a rep for exagerration <whistle>

    I remember the cheekbone spell though, got three in two games didn't he. I remember two against Southampton when we pumped them 4 or 5-1

    Watto was a cracking player to have. Probably one of the most versatile players we ever had. Remember his somersault throws in the early days under Ardiles.

    That runs the best scoring run I can remember him having for us. Remember he once scored a Premier League hat trick for Everton against Leeds.

    i could swear it was more than that though, like four games at least. I just found a seemingly reliable site though where its nothing of the sort though. Jesus i had created this massive scoring streak in my mind lol. I definitely think that goal you posted was one, also remember a goal which was also against liverpool..sort of short range rocket from just outside the the right hand side of the six yard box. I say rocket, it probably just trickled in....


    amazingly versatile player though, definitely.



    this is it then defo, cheers. Must have been my distaste for liverpool hyping my imagination up.
