Seems fair mate.

I prefer today to look at the positives, mainly Cabral & Altidore for me, both look handy as ****.

Only thing missing from Altidore was a goal. Everything else was excellent. I hope he gets one soon or he could end up low on confidence and that'd be gutting. He should've worked the keeper more yesterday but otherwise had a great game

We are a creative CM short, overall we were canny. Whoever slated Jack? He was very good. Altidore looked good, needs better service, Cabral impressive. Defence solid bar soft looking goal (need to see again...).

No drama for me.

PDC has said thats what he needs so at least he knew where we are weak. Once that CM position is filled and Fletch is back we will be OK. The new players looked good individually and will gel in time.

Overall I was pleased with the performance, frustrated with the result.

Nowt to do with the post really but not worth starting a new thread.

I thought Berbatov was absolutely superb. He's a lazy b*stard and does just what he has to do. But what he does do is brilliant.

Sess' head turned?

Obviously just conjecture but what would your guess be?

My mate and I both said it's the first time we have seen Sess applaud the four sides of the ground when he came out at the start, could that be a sign that he is off to pastures new?

hahaha hook line and sinker........

tbh i was totally pissed off last night, not with what i saw on the pitch but what i was hearing from our so called fans, people around us in the ground winging, the small minority that booed, people groaning walking over the bridge, more grunting in the pub, then i come home and saw some of the comments on here and just couldnt be bothered to post.

My take on yesterday was that we played well and conceded a soft goal, great save from them to deny jozy i think. Jozy was class and fletch will feed off him like nobodies business. Giacc impressed however did look likeweight at times. Cabral had a decent debut, really like the look of him and a creative mid along side him will work wonders. calutska had a sold game a dodgy backpass but can be forgiven for it. Westwood didnt have alot to do but should have had a player on the back post (schoolboy error). Larsson is not suited to that roll and it showed. Sess, was it his last game for us? on that display i couldnt care less, got a feeling he wasnt keen on the fact that in jozy and giacc we had potentially more skillfull players on the pitch.

Disapointed to lose but heartened by the performance. Creative mid is a must, colback did well again but we need a natural left footer to link up with giacc. O'Shea great captain, roberge had a pretty faultless display, fletch would of had a field day yesterday.

Sorry for calling you a cock, llke i say was pissed of with our fans last night.

edit : thought johnson did well in the first half not so good in the 2nd, need that creative mid to give him supply

What a bunch of F---ING negative supporters did any of you watch the game if you get the chance you will see that it was totally dominated by one team constantly attacking Fulham in one game have used up all of their luck for the season I would suggest a lot of you start to support Newcastle where you will find a lot more of your type

This, well said that man!

New season, manager and players same old ****e! So much for the Di Canio revolution lots of possession no ideas!

get yourself a new club or screw your head right down tight, one game in and you judge things on that, im glad im round the ****ing twist if you are normal

That's football, we bossed most of the game and they took their chance and delivered. I'm certainly not shi*ting bricks over the rest of the season. 37 games to go. I'm behind my team all the way!

chuffed at our performance i can see a lot of positives, bodes well for the season ahead, as has been said before 3 more good signings and well be fine

30 odd years of seeing the same old story. we are no where near the standard of 2001, where are the wingers?, why was no players bursting through the defence ?, Fulham will be the weakest attacking team to come here and they get three easy points, the balls in were rubbish and the shooting amature, the Spurs game was a one off. And where will our first win come from now?.

Hopefully next week at Southampton. I just don't get the massive over reaction to one defeat. They looked really promising to me.

Agree 100% with the above apart from I'd really like to keep Sessengon.

Yes 90mins is how much time we should give all the new players time to settle in.

Calm down dear we are getting there.
