@SaintsStats: The last time we lost 6-1 at Arsenal, it resulted in our best ever league finish and a cup final appearance #ReasonsToStayPositive #saintsfc

Adkins should be ****ing furious at the end. Otherwise he'll look like a fool and lose respect of the players. This is not a time to be positive but a time to tell the players they were not good enough and to get their **** together big time

Simple facts:
We have just played what will be one I the tougher starts to the season. The top three and we were unlucky against two of them.

The high score today doesn't mean we have lost by more points. No one expected us to have more than maybe three points four games in...

Cheers up please.

Now that is done we will draw a line and move on to the next.

positives? Lambert and Lallana not injured. Yoshida and Ramirez got their first starts and looked good.

Oh and a sensible positive.....Fonte looked a lot better after Jos went off. Maybe I was wrong and Jos was making Fonte look bad???

Positives from the first 4 games:

Lambert can cut it against the best
Lallana made the England squad
Ward-Prowse looks a fantastic prospect and plays like he has been in the prem all his life
Ramirez and Yoshida slotted in very well today and look very exciting

And we've had three very tough games, and have no serious injuries. Personally I still think the future is bright. It was always going to be a horrible start once the fixtures became apparent.
