Southampton and Swansea are teams that went up at the same time we should have done. We should have done back to back promotions with Southampton but didn't thanks to Bates. The difference between our clubs is vast ...... We were massive and have a massive history but shyte owners for a dozen years. SSwansea and Saints went through heaps of shyte for many years but got themselves a new owner who was willing to gamble on the manager and the invest cash. That investment gets paid back in multiples as promotion means £100m, and then having a canny manager who can keep you up guarantees the future. Our owner needs to sort out the mess and then start on this club from coach/manager to squad and get us the fook up the leagues. We're in danger of dropping yet again and this needs to be the last time, because if not we all may as well say fook off to this club and start again in the blue square with a new local club who will work for the city and the fans
Much as I like what you're saying, I must take issue with you re. Swansea. It's well documented that the board chose a style of play & appointed managers that were prepared to use that system. (Remind you of someone?).
We will not go down Cellino is like a breath of fresh air but progress takes time but I am confident we will get there we have done exactly what I would have done get the average age down the squad just needs tweaking a little look at Brum now they have got rid of Lee Clarke who is the most useless manager on earth in my opinion.Blackpool will go down FACT I totally agree with WJ
