I struggle to understand the dellatorre loan in any sense. Sign an injured striker and then when fit do not select him??

Maybe im missing the obvious somewhere??

I think he was a loan with a view to buy for the future. Maiga is the one if can't understand, he is truly shocking. We didn't need both him and Keane.

We could sign a free agent providing we don't have 25 over 21s and I think that would include Cesar.

Never understood why people want a highly succesfull keeper (with more trophies than half our team put together)like Cesar who kept us within touching distance whilst in the prem, out.
If it wasnt for him we'd have been relegated before Xmas. MOM or almost in nearly every game he played..strange.
Children will highlight the CXhelsea shirt thing, but thats pretty lame TBH

If we go with Murphy for the rest of the season i reckon thats our promotion campaign all but finished. I'd love him to prove me wrong but.....

Agree about Cesar. I'd love to see him back. I never seen Murphy play - has anyone? !

Beth, im behind who-ever we choose, but if it was between a proven keeper and Murphy, at this stage of the season then its a clear cut decision for me...just find it odd thats all <ok>

Could you imagine an neutral outsider seeing this and trying to make sense of it all? Stumped would be an understatement...?

EDIT: Are you going to telol everyone about your winning award last week then? I was going to post something about it but thought I'd let you have the honour
    again ..well done <ok>

Barton MoM? Here we go again. His performance on Saturday was typical of his entire season. Tons of involvement (presumably the most touches of any player on the park) and he was involved in most of our best moves. But you surely can't ignore the huge number of misplaced and some downright stupid passes. I'm not saying he shouldn't be playing but his fans manage to overlook the riskier side of his game somehow. MoM either Hoilett or Morrison.

Highlights for me were Morrison's attitude - really motivated. If Charlie came back for the play-offs, we'd have a formidable front line.

And Kranjcar. Worked hard, tackled back, showed skill particularly for his part in the third goal, drawing in defenders and setting things up for Morrison.

Came away a bit optimistic we might find form by the end of the season. We need consistency - the performance tomorrow night against Sheff Weds will be important

By no means am I his biggest fan, and I agree a few passes went astray, but its not just what he does on the ball. Its what he does off it. We missed him when he was banned, his energy and constant chasing and tackling were crucial on Saturday. He looks to create chances by passing quickly, and often switching the ball to the other side of the pitch.

I would rather he tries to affect the game with 'riskier' passes, than be a lazy sod like Hoilett who just runs into players and loses the ball, then doesn't track back.

I just don't get this dislike of Hoilett, but I guess we all see things differently eh?

Costly game for us if BBC report is correct for tomorrow's game...

"QPR goalkeeper Rob Green is out with cracked ribs and midfielders Armand Traore and Jermaine Jenas both have hamstring injuries.
On-loan West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison (groin) is a doubt.
Left-back Benoit Assou-Ekotto could miss out again with the knock he suffered at Brighton last Tuesday while fellow full-back Danny Simpson (back), midfielder Alejandro Faurlin (knee), winger Matty Phillips (ankle) and strikers Charlie Austin (shoulder) and Andrew Johnson (ankle) remain on the sidelines."
