Whether you wanted or thought we would lose doesn't matter, we did the opposite of what you predicted so hence the humble pie. I'm sure we'd have had it had we lost yesterday.

 

Point well made, after all this thread was started for the sole reason of making a prediction and Pricks was wrong... Way wrong.

I think you are applying a very loose definition of the term 'humble pie' if you think I need some for making an incorrect prediction about a Football match.

You would, you've already demonstrated on numerous other threads that there is an absolute lack of brain function inside your head.

 

You were dramatically wrong with your prediction though. If for example i had predicted city to win a game 3-0, yet they lost 3-0 i would expect a slice of 'humble pie'. Whether it's one game with an incorrect or not for me the term still applies, you were proved wrong with the result. If you feel that it is not a necessary term to use in this case, when does it apply? An incorrect prediction is an incorrect prediction at the end of the day, therefore humble pie is pretty relevant

I may have got the scorer wrong, but i think that sums up yesterdays game fairly well....

 

Why even waste your breath, I think we've made our point and it has been fully justified by Prick Viking having made a massively wrong off the scale prediction which demonstrates to me he know bog all about the club he so reckons he supports !!!
