Used to go to Chislehurst caves as a kid

Hubby's family lived in Pettswood when we met

 

The caves are opposite my flat

 

Better to come from Petts Wood than Pratts Bottom!

Whats that nice pub on the common by the caves? Had a few in there over the years

Down the road a bit I know, but I went to visit a mate in Eltham 4 or 5 years ago, first time I'd been for a while, that roundabout at the bottom of the hill from Eltham with the huge pub in the middle, I couldn't believe the pub had become a McDonalds or KFC, I can't remember which, but that pub used to be heaving back in the days when I lived in South London!

 

where did you live then dave?

 

Brockley with Wife number one and Catford with number two!
Before that, I was a copper at Camberwell Green, living in the section house in Greenwich, just behind the hospital!

 

we were almost neighbours .... lol

I go to Catford regularly to go to a Japanese restaurant. I don't go to Brockley!

 

Has catford gone upmarket ?

 

Not yet, but very good Japanese

 

not sure what japanese eat other than raw fish

 

Raw fish is only a small part of their diet I don't eat fish!

 

We have a couple of Japanese in Weston, their food is very tasty and very healthy!
