The late substitutions seemed to play into Posh's hands. We missed Albie in midfield, and it wasn't Stockley's day, maybe he should have headed the penalty. PLaying 3 up front enabled Posh to dominate the midfield in the closing stages, and it petered out. I expect to miss the next 2 games, maybe that will bring them luck.
Posh started great, and we clawed our way back in as the half progressed. Actually a good game at this level, but gutted to lose, although overall I thought Posh deserved their win. I was crying out for some changes but when they finally arrived, they didn't really help. On the bright side, Posh looking at a well deserved promotion, so if we make the play offs, we won't meet them again. And bar Oxford, the other results were okay, so still in our hands. But Christ we are rubbish at home.
Had to miss this one again today. Other results were quite kind to us, so all is not lost and doesn't sound as though we were vastly outplayed. All still to play for and its still in our hands. Hull already promoted so maybe the final game of the season won't be quite as tough as it could have been. I know some folks said that about Leeds last year, but I think that was a different kettle of fish and there is not the same gulf between us and Hull this year as there was between us and Leeds last year. We should beat Crewe and Stanley, so I still think Lincoln will be the decider. And FFS sort out the penalties. Either low and just inside the post or high in the top corner. Keepers can't save those. Anything in between gives them a chance.
