This is the post of the day. What a line. "This moment is worth more than the money" Read it and weep Dejan Toby Adam Nathaniel Luke Morgan Calum Victor Sadio YOU DONT HAVE TO LEAVE TO WIN THINGS!
They just want to be more famous is all. All because they played at a famous club. Did Peter Osgood, Kevin Keegan, Peter Shilton to name a few lose their fame because they played for Southampton? Doesn't matter how well we do, the grass is always greener for some of the tykes. The Lovrens of this world will soon be forgotten once their career is over. Where as most Saints players that stay loyal become legends. Edit ......and keep their England or national team places during their playing career!!
1998: France host a major tournament and reach the final. However the opposition's star player - named Ronaldo - is unable to play against them, due to suspicious circumstances. 2016: Same as above.
Puel may be disappointed, but he must have been impressed after he had a chance to look at two of his defenders.....if he ever lets them play again.
They've got the plane tracker on Portuguese TV (wife has taken control of the telly) Don't know what they are saying cos I don't speaka da lingo but their plane just crossed the Portugal/Spain border.

http://tbrfootball.com/who-was-the-stand-out-southampton-player-at-euro-2016/ Article about who was the best Southampton player at Euro 2016. Who would have thought that could ever be anything that needed consideration.
Ok so I watched the final in Almeria, southern Spain, surrounded by French and Belgians. They had their faces painted and sang the anthem. I was wearing my 2002 Saints away shirt and vocally supported Portugal. I've never enjoyed an international Final so much.
I watched the 2006 World Cup semifinal between France and Portugal in a bar in La Rochelle. When the anthems were played there was a solitary Portuguese man standing amongst the hordes of French people proudly singing his heart out. I hope he was watching last night.
