    This moment matches Rickie's goal against Scotland for me...so pleased for Cedric, but especially Jose, what he has achieved since he joined us 6 years ago is staggering.

    We will never know of course, but I have a suspicion that is Ronaldo had stayed on, Portugal would not have won.

    Their play is/was too predictable with him and as such, can be easier to defend against.

    So do i. Pepe had his great moments, but very soon after Jose came into the defence they achieved a solidity where I realised that any opposition were going to have to have a moment of genius to beat them. And, as usual, Jose made both his fellow CBs look good whether it was Pepe or Alves. Jose was the rock his team built their victory upon. And Cedric had a game in the final which showed what he is capable of as a RB.
