That's a very fair question. Arsene Wenger? I've always had great respect for him.

We'll probably end up with some journeyman, at a cheap price.

Please don't let it be Joey Barton God, there's a good fellow.

Wasnt a pen, just, looked iffy, but he booted the ball away a millisecond before he booted the player. <laugh>

Defender has to get the benefit of the doubt on this one. Good tackle, but rather clumsily done. Referee probably influenced by the ball shooting over his left shoulder.

Birthday today, 72, and I can't remember the last time we had a positive result so close to the day that we had last night.
Last year we lost 0-2 at Bristol Rivers so this is seventh heaven for me.
Sunday is the Grand Daughters 18th, so the usual family get together isn't happening thanks to Covid which now means it's cup final all the way for me, every cloud as they say.
Looking forward to seeing Power lift that trophy and if we put on a show like we did last night then the match experience could be very relaxing. Can't wait.

And the nerve of the scrawny prick to stand up mouth ajar as if he’d been done over. He had that look a few times last night, two of those times were when Wyke and Jones put the ball in the back of his team’s net.

Can’t stand that football club or their manager. Absolutely delighted we completely outplayed them in their ****ty little ground.

Thanks for the link, but it really doesn't do the performance justice.

Win their respective games in hand, Ipswich, Oxford, Accrington and Blackpool would all go above them.

Just had another look at the Wyke goal... what is Jackett on about..09 was being held by their player.

Probably not a pen, but I have seen them given...and their player dived first half, should have had a yellow.

I don’t think he dived, I think he kicked the deck and maybe therefore thought he’d been clipped.

Ive certainly done that when playing.
The dive by Marquis was absolutely shameful.

I hope the referee for the Salford game was watching and books him if he pulls the same stunt.

I really don't care if this other 'penalty' was one or not, it wouldn't have changed the course of the game ...

... Portsmouth were well beaten by a far superior team.

And that's that.
And he had the audacity to stand there with his mouth open for ages, as if he'd been hard done by. Cheating Bassa!

It was not clear from this angle in real time, but they showed it from the other side and it was a definite dive.
Sanderson had a slight touch on his back, - Marquis was waiting for that contact and dived - both his feet are well off the ground.

What do you mean - no penalty ?
