I think some refs are definitely trying to be the "big i am" in front of us since we are the biggest club in the division.
( That may sound arrogant but we broke Man city's attendance record)
A poor decision that leads to us going down to ten men/ a goal down had an adverse effect and players heads drop, we've had decisions like that rescinded. Ozturk, Maguire, O'Nien....
The difference now is the players battle instead of shy away but it still doesn't help.

How many teams against us had those sort of decisions ?

Last season if we didn't have so many and the players had the belief and fitness they have now i think we would of made that shortfall.

If Parky keeps us going like we are but we dont go up this season i will look to that poor run when he first came in and had to sort shìt out.

Win these next three games and i think we will take some stopping.

Unchanged is right for me, don't change a winning team unless you have to. Their fitness levels will be getting pretty high with all this game time, I hope Parky isn't afraid to make use of his subs it's a good bench.

Just wish he would give the lads on the bench a bit more of a run out.

Pretty much agree with this. The lads in the team have earned their place and it sets the challenge for the new lads to do the same.

He has to give them an opportunity to do so though, subs around the 70 minute mark for fresh legs makes sense to me. Being brought on in the 88th minute must be beyond frustrating.

    Strong attacking bench.
Nice to see our manager giving us a chance. if we’re chasing the game - on comes strong reinforcements.
If we’re closing out a result we have good fresh legs coming on like for like.

The one that stood out for me was I think we were 3-0 up at half time and we ended up with two unused subs or brought on with minutes left. I get that maybe he's trying to condition the first 11 to deal with 90 minutes of football but you're not always going to have that 11 to pick.

Now we have a stronger bench, I think he will start and do that mate.

Upto now he's had very few game changers to bring on. That's not the case any more.

That was my guess as well, as I was struggling to think of a reason. Maybe it is also about concentration levels and / or giving the 11 the responsibility to see out the result.
