Most number 10s these days are just number 8s who are creative and play further up, like Ødegaard and De Bruyne. The classic number 10 died with Özil. Personally, I don’t think Kamara is creative enough or disciplined enough off the ball to do either variant.
i think he can be he has every attribrute to do that attacking midfielder role he's not a natural winger, every single time his dribbles past someone it's his clever feints he's very good at throwing a shoulder and skipping past but he has no real pace that he uses he can be coached to flourish there technically, he's quality at his level, but he lacks everything you want in a quick pacy winger he is a more modern ozil and his discipline can be trained off the ball he's very athleticaly strong, he's very tall too
A couple of beers in..... Delighted we'll be watching Championship football next season. Selles has kept us up, which is impressive given how bad the first half of the season was. We have a lot of attacking players that will be back from injury and are starters next season That was a good point today, we started with 3 centre forwards and Crooks (a very good January signing) got the goal. Credit to the management that got him in. bringing Jones on took us to a solid defensive unit and killed the game - great call from Selles. I look forward to reading the Summer transfer thread! UTT
You talking about Kamara? As in Abu Kamara who plays for Hull City? The lad who’s looked totally lost at this level and a complete waste of 4.5m? Admittedly I haven’t seen every game this season, but every time I’ve seen this lad play I’ve been astounded that we paid what we did for him. He has nothing to his game at all.
yes im talking about him and of course he has things about his game i think he should be an attacking midfielder he's only 21 bale changed position at a similar age even in this **** side, kamara got 5 goals 3 assists i genuinely believe kamara will be an attacking midfielder by the time hes 24 im so sure about it, id bet on it, if im selles, im coaching kamara into that role you've had a ****ing mare mate
i have far more experience with pros than you but im not saying he is at that level its an example his best position is not out wide, and im very sure it will be found out he's only 21.
i know for a fact one of these lads would be playing champions league football if he actually cared his wages appealed more though
Cracking end to the season, that. What a day! Good, open game. Great support. Decent effort by the team and a happy ending. Obvs could have been a bit **** if we'd lost but that's what makes it the game we all love. Might even have beans with my breakfast tomorrow to celebrate
