Pompey made five changes for Wednesday away, including bringing in back-up keeper Ben Killip, who was born round the corner from me in Isleworth. Let’s hope they make even more for Saturday and give the whole squad a chance.

The keeper they brought into the team yesterday, Ben Killip, is actually their third choice keeper, played just so the manager could ‘take a look at him’ before his short term contract expires. You just know if he stays in the team, he’ll play a blinder, but he’s never played above League One before. I actually like this idea a lot

 

I know he’s been banned but I’ve said I’d play crooks all the time as he’s one of the few goal threats
Him gelhardt and pedro will take a shot on

 

Gelhardt is wasted out wide. Through the centre or don't bother.

 

This is the only reason I can think of for not playing Crooks. But even then it doesn't seem enough of a reason to have him sat on the bench and no one on the pitch who can attack a cross.

Other thing I suppose is maybe he can't press like Joseph can, but when why did we sign him?

Administration has been mentioned again during this thread. I remind you all, once again, of the words of Adam Pearson uttered at our last flirtation with impending financial meltdown. "Administration was not an option. There was nothing to administer". I can see no reason why anything in that statement has changed.

If it was me, I would sack this Rosenior fella, and get someone in who can move us up the table....Ah, oooops, yes, sily me.
