It's a results game IF we stay up and then have a good start to next season everyone will forget this season
Here's some straw clutches of hope... Portsmouth only registered two shots today against Wednesday - who had nothing to play for. Only Plymouth have a worse defence - if we needed a team that was possible to score against - it might well be Portsmouth. ......there's still a week to go...
If he wants his money back he won't get it by going in to administration. He'd only get it back by selling us as a Championship club. Unless he wants to cut his losses then administration or sell as a League 1 club
Why? Genuine question, ive heard lots of comments like this and best answer is - it's just a feeling But nobody with these feelings knows Acun so it's a complete guess. If anybody can backup these comments I'd love to know the reasons why
Without knowing the ins and outs, and not doubting anyone for a minute, it just sounds like the usual drama and hysterics from City fans at the moment. But I'm sure it will all come out in the wash.
That was my point about being careful what you wish for. I agree that either administration or some sort of Bartlett arrangement with Pearson or Ehab managing a long and excruciating decline to a base line where the club can be sold - is far more likely than a quick clean sale
Bit of a side question, but why do we seem to have a lot of people stood around the dugout pre-match/at half time, dressed in city gear, not doing anything but chatting or waving at people in the crowd? There's like 4 of them walking the half time contestant onto the pitch - surely one can do it. (I hope whatever happens on Saturday, that awful halftime entertainment is panned).
That seemed to be central to the strategy again today: four times we blasted it way over the bar from just outside the box. I hate watching us do that. It's been a problem for ages and we just never seem to improve on it. People who can't strike a ball and keep it down shouldn't be shooting from miles away. It's pathetic.
The games all seem to be of the same pattern. I remember at Reading, Rubin was not getting results with his preferred system, and he apparently changed it and they started winning. Maybe a change of system might help, go to 352, play Egan/Hughes/Jones at the back. with Gelhart and Pedro up front. It might just get us more control in midfield. I just feel something need to change to freshen things up.
I realise that, I would try Joseph on the left, he would work hard and track back, probably Drameh on the right, as he has more pace than Coyle.KPL has been changed into a sort of wing back at Brentford and has been doing well, so Joseph has pace and a work ethic, might work.
We've got to start Pedro. With Gelhardt and Kamara as well. They are the only players we have who can score goals and if we don't do that at least once we're down.
