Tomlin through on goal, hauled down, last man and no card shown? Given a free kick, poor decision, how many players have we had sent off for that. Then Port Vale go on to equalise a few minutes after!
Too Late with the subs again .Obvious team tiring .Hess makes great signings but does not know how to get best out of players and cannot see danger signs during games that are obvious to anyone else. Its clear we are not going to get promoted this season so now its time for change
Exactly. Can't organise and is no tactician. New manages galvanise teams. If we act quick we could still make the play offs
i think the dream has gone ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the nightmare continues, i will be amazed if we make the play-offs
Hess will quit / get sacked at the end of the season. Hopefully a new manager can bring in some decent players. The squad we currently have is not good enough for automatic promotion, or even a play-off place.
Nothing wrong with the squad. This is a much better set of players than we got promoted with under Stimson. As much as I hate to say it Hess needs to go because he wont get the best out of them this week ,next or next season . There have been too few good performances since he has been in charge. He gets the right tools for the job but does not seem to know how to use them. Today is an excellent example of not using subs or nous to run the clock down. Ive seen enough to know Scally must change it or our best players will leave in the summer and we will be lokking at playing Ebbsfleet and Dartford in no time at all
I think the squad is good enough, look at Sunderland, Bruce sacked they were **** at the time, new manager, better performances, but I would personally give Hess to the end of the season, it is ****ed now, but if you change it now, one or two more defeats and it is all over anyway so would not make any difference.
It would give time for someone else to settle in. If Scally does not act soon we will be in this division for another two years at least. Gates are starting to drop so it is only going to get harder
three more points dropped and one less game to save our season...time to go hess , wish i could say otherwise, but you just can't get what we need out of the players, be it you or them, it's not working...so yes time is up!!! feel sorry for the youth players and kingy, seems like they didn't deserve that today and sorry but kedwell just doesn't add enough...it's like having another more aggressive headless chicken called dennis oli sometimes with kedwell. give up on our season now and build for a proper push next season with what players we can keep and bring in. end of season get rid of lawrence, fish, richards, weston, frampton, montrose, martin, king(if not up to playing), oli(oh yes), carter(no games), rance(no games), brunt(no games), brown(no games). players who will want to leave are kuffour, tomlin, jackman, whelpdale, charlie lee and maybe jack payne...it doesn't leave us with much to build on, then again if they don't want to perform for us now..is it any loss!!! which will leave us with spiller, birchall, flitney, gazzaniga, hawkes, fuller, evans, essam, davies, kedwell, miller and maybe oliver lee if all still in contract...which i doubt. not much to build on...something needs to give and now...hess please walk...you needed a coach alongside you alongtime ago!
All is not lost yet but we have 2 home games now. Although we have been losing it has only been by 1 goal. therefore we can t be that bad. Our next 2 games are at home, so if we could get 6 points i think we can carry on with a winning run we may still have a chance for the play offs. If we do not win these 2 matchs the season is over and unfortunely Scally will have to get rid of Hessy.
Infact our next 6 matchs we have 5 at home and the away game is Plymouth so we really can get our season back on tract. If we can get between 12 and 15 points we will be back in the hunt.
I think for the season to be back on track we would need to win them all or win 5 draw one, but my problem is that even if we do that we will probably still lose again and then we could be back in the play offs after being unbeaten for 6 games just lose one and drop back out, there are so many teams up there that it will change so much.
at least one good thing comes out of this, it keeps mr plummer our groundsman in a job for the next couple of months at least, with having five of our next six games at home...the guy has his work cut out keeping the pitch playable...then again we tend to punt it up field of late, so maybe not to much of a concern on the other hand i feel an excuse coming on from hess regards this matter and the pitch not being playable
I've just seen the penalty incident which led to Port vale's winner. No way was that a penalty! Their guy made a meal of it. He went down theatrically.
