Finally Power is on. We need his size, their players are much bigger than ours.

Great work by McGeady and Honeyman sees his shot saved by the keeper.
    O'Nien on for Gooch.

When we pass the ball we look good but there seems to be some desire to knock it forward as fast as possible. Which just results in us losing possession.

Job done, not the game we could have hoped for but after that dream start, but no injury worries or suspensions are a big bonus, with another game on Tuesday.

Aye just getting the job done with no casualties is more than enough for me. You never know how hard these games are going to be but they're often a real challenge, underestimating nobody is a sensible attitude.

Winning has clearly become a habit now.

I thought Matthews had a good game today. I liked that long ball which found MaGuire in stride and in space, later in the first half when we already up by two. If MaGuire delivers that ball to Sinclair at the far post it would have been game over. And late in the match after the home announcers were talking up their Columbian substitute, moments later, his fresh legs are trying, unsuccessfully, to catch Matthews, who is marauding down the right touchline.

Took him a while to settle but he looks the part this season, makes great runs as you say. With Denver on the way back we should be well covered at full back even if we do sell Oviedo. Maguire had a poor game today by his standards often trying to win the game with a killer punch instead of playing it simple and winning on points, to be fair to him though, and the others they all put the miles in, and run the opposition into the ground over 90 mins, a bit more control and we could be in for a treat in the New Year, a little cup run to say the last 16 with a home draw against Man City would be a nice bonus on top of automatic promotion, who knows. <ok>
