I thought we played well enough first half. Only a small thing especially as I was saying he was unlucky to be dropped a few weeks ago but it's now you realise how much more Hurst brings to the forward line than Ladapo, doesn't stretch it as much plus we've put in some really good crosses in but people are waiting for the ball to drop to their feet rather than attacking it.
Well that goal was a gut punch. 46 minutes of them packing men behind the ball, time-wasting at every opportunity, and then that. Wolfenden needs to be a lot quicker on the ball. We aren’t playing badly, but we need to up the tempo and move around a bit more. It’ll be hard breaking their lines with the opposition packing men behind the ball, but the onus is on us to break them down. I’d like to see us having an actual attempt on target too. Feel like Hurst and Edwards need to be on the pitch, sooner the better.
Also, is the iFollow always this frustratingly one sided since we moved from BBC Suffolk? The incessant optimism is actually annoying, even for me! Feels like ITV commentary during an England match.
I thought we mixed it up pretty well to be fair. Just tried to be to intricate through the middle sometimes and not enough desire to get on the end of things in the box
I always thought radio Suffolk was bad but I've seen it in a new light. Westlake saying Woolfenden will be a good CB in the Championship next season as a matter of fact!!
To be fair, Chaplin is used to Hirst and his well judged flicks. We are not playing badly, just must be more creative, and direct against a solid brick wall.
BBC and Brennar Woolley was always a little negative to be honest, he was rather cynical in a lot off things he said.
