Pope's shouting is a feature of his game, but in a positive way, like Andy Hughes and just as loud too.

After his debut against B'mouth where he made a brilliant saving tackle in after 5 minutes and hassled them off the ball all game, I really thought he would be a good signing. Can't get them all right.

Was not a hospital pass, Poyet called it and for once Diego had the touch of a sex offender and cost us the Goal, not Hamer.
All goal keepers are nutters... there is a reason they sign up to get in the way of the ball rather than just kick a ball like everyone else.
I sadly see a lot of my goal keeping in Hamer, not afriad to b0ll0ck a defensive mix up or a mistake, but one thing I don't like is he won't accept he did a mistake.. not very often anyway

Hamer over hit a pass to Poyet, who was standing just outside of our box with two Brighton strikers nearby.

If Poyet had let the ball run rather than take a touch he would have had about 20 yards of open pitch to himself, but he took a touch and instantly had the 2 players on him.

Reg reminds me of Church... except Varney would score every now and then, ran his socks off, wasn't technically gifted but tried... and showed up every now and then

Don't see any reason why not? The loan was til end of season wasn't it? So it will keep going until York's season ends, I think

Glory, you do realise he is our player with two years left on his contract? He is on loan to York for the rest of the season.......our management see him as a future Prem Keeper....... however...... if you offer us £100,000 I can't help feeling we would sell <grr>

We do have a young French keeper who is very good and I'm sure SL would sell him to you..... or even loan him to you for next season.......his best asset is punching the ball <ok>

If he is as good as Nigel says then £100k is very cheap, and if I was cafc I would be a bit pissed off with ycfc putting in the shop window. There is quite a lot of co-operation behind the scenes between our academy and ycfc and I am sure he is on our radar.

Varney was a disgrace at LUFC. No talent, no loyalty, new clubs beware.

I think it depends on the date York loaned him as the end of the season is usually seen as Game.46

I'm sure your forever seeing Loan Agreements being extended when the Play-Offs come around so the various loanees can play

No we can't. It's postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.

It's outrageous, how can such a thing happen :emoticon-0120-doh:

After watching the Peterborough game, I thinks it's safe to say we don't have the worst pitch in the football league.

    Have that, Sean Dyche.
