To reiterate, it isn't losing that's pissed me off. It's losing and seeing Stoke players jog off full of energy at the end of the game. If we'd been bullied by their big lads it'd be easier to take but they didn't have to. One ball in the box won em the game cos we were never gonna get more than 0. We got the point at Man City cos we scored first. Today we didn't have an attack until it was too late. Maybe the fans should have saved ourselves for Tuesday too.
Of course it has, we could quite easily have earnt points today. It puts more pressure on Tuesday. The team are now playing on Tuesday on the back of a defeat, don't you think they may have been better prepared had we drawn or won? You can't win games if you don't have a shot on goal. We haven't even tried to win this game, we've gone with a poor team selection, which has resulted in another game gone, more damaging is not one shot on goal. How many other teams would travel to an away game and in 90 minutes not even muster one effort on goal? This is by any stretch of the imagination piss poor.
I hope this doesn't come back to haunt us. People saying it's a fixture we won't win, but at least have a go ffs. It's a game we could've done better in. You can't write off Stoke as a loss & hope we turn it on against the Mackems on Tuesday. We've got to play all the top 6 still we going to roll over in those matches as well.
Hi, properpundit.blogspot.co.uk Have a read, by all means copy into the thread if you think I'm just trying to get hits. Enjoy! (or not)
People with your kind of logic are the reason Hull is such a ****hole. Man: "Look around - mass unemployment, streets full of empty shops, rubbish all over the streets, heavy drug and alcohol use across the city. The council are hopeless, the government have forgotten us... this area needs a revolution" Strovolos: "Wow, what a cnut. Don't you know we were bombed 70-years ago? Be grateful you even have a ****hole to live in and shut up moaning. Things could be worse, and that means people who feel further improvement is needed are wrong. There's no place for reason here, you bloody cnut."
Hardly, play every game to win. We didn't today, that is not acceptable. You can run your life accepting mediocrity or less than, that's not how I run mine.
This deserves a thread. Bruce has become **** scared of playing anyone young. He thinks Ince is two years younger than he is and is now treating Robertson like a youth teamer after an excellent start to the season. He's one of our best players ffs.
Is it just me or does Bruce seem to drop players who have mares straight away and then leave them out for ages? Fair play the kid ****ed up against the Toon, but he really should be getting in the team ahead of a player who by all reason won't be here next season. It was the same with Fathi and jakupovic. Both ****ed up and seemingly dropped out of the first team picture straight away.
We missed Jela, fine. But we had two strikers fit & we didn't play them. Instead we played two attacking midfielders upfront and didn't play to their strengths. To have 1 shot on goal all day is pretty shocking.
Good question. I think it depends on the competition, ie. what's the backup like. Huddlestone's been off par for a year now and has managed to maintain his status in the squad because we have little alternative.
He does with some players. People like McShane and Robertson have been out of the team ages without doing much wrong. Aluko on the other hand gets a recall every second week after being dropped the previous week for being ****. Ramirez too doesn't seem to have to do much to get in the team.
