Not sure if it is 2 points dropped or one gained in the context of the match. Reading between the lines KJ has some work to do on overcoming obdurate teams like Shrewsbury. Plus point at this stage. PFC have gained 8 points against opponents in which none were taken in last season´s corresponding matches.

Definitely a point gained. We were flat and in first half midfield overrun. Bypassed rather than overrun. Too much longball and wayward passes. The subs helped. Second half much better.
Elsewhere, Horndean were knocked out of the FA Cup today, losing 3-2 at Margate in the First Qualifying Round. Moneyfields are through though. They won 1-0 at home to Thamesmead Town. Gosport are also through after a 1-0 away win at Sittingbourne.
Good thread lads Apart from the first 10 minutes, the first half was flat. Much better second half when David Wheeler replaced Andre Green who doesn't look fully match fit yet. Ben Close also made a difference in midfield. Terrible mistake by Christian Burgess allowing substitute Docherty (who had only just come on) to score. Brett Pitman was clearly fouled in the box, but the referee ignored it. Not long afterwards, Nathan Thompson was brought down from behind, and this time the dozy ref pointed to the spot. Brett Pitman tucked the ball away in front of the Fratton End to make it 1-1. Shrewsbury appear to be one of our "bogey sides", and used delaying tactics at every opportunity; at throw ins, and goal kicks; to slow the game down to their benefit. Still, we remain unbeaten this season in the league, and second in the table behind Peterborough Utd, who we are away to next Saturday, with Ronan Curtis returning to the side.

The 22-year-old striker could make his senior international debut in the game in Wroclaw on Tuesday. Manager Martin O'Neill has drafted in Curtis after Ipswich striker Jonathan Walters returned to his club on Friday. Burnley defender Stephen Ward has also been ruled out of the trip to Poland with a foot injury he suffered during the Nations League defeat by Wales. Promising Liverpool goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher trained with the senior squad at their camp in Newport this week but has also been released back to his club. Curtis has been in superb form for Portsmouth since his switch from Derry City in the summer - scoring five goals in six games for the League One club. The versatile forward has also translated his club form onto the international stage, scoring a spectacular equaliser for the Republic of Ireland Under-21s in their European Championship qualifier against Kosovo last Friday. He picked up a yellow card during that game in Mitrovica, which rules him out of the Under-21's next qualifier against Germany but means he is still available for the senior squad on Tuesday evening.
