I'm sure we all have our own thoughts on the incident, West WindsR, but I can only say what I saw, as I was seated in the South Stand Lower quite near where the fracas occurred. Lee Brown received a booking for pushing Joel Lynch away from the scene once or twice, as he kept returning presumably for retribution against Curtis.
My view was far from perfect but it looked like your bloke quite blatantly ‘did’ ours which provoked the melee and he avoided a red by going down himself with some mystery injury. Thought the ref handled the whole match weakly. Lynch doesn’t need much of an invitation to get involved where he’s not needed.
Above is a message on QPR's match day thread from daverangers - he obviously saw it differently from you ! I rest my case your honour
Pretty sure what I wrote was in reference to a challenge just outside box, not the incident that led to the scuffle.
Josh Scowen slides in at speed, wins the ball, but catches Ronan Curtis' right leg on the way through. Curtis takes a slight kick at him, but hardly connects. He appeared o.k. to carry on without receiving treatment. Next thing, all the players get involved, and in the following video at 1 min. 32 secs, your number 7 (Luke Freeman?) appears to aim a kick at Ronan's private parts, before he is pulled away by a Pompey player. Curtis is also holding his head at one stage as if he has been kicked. To my mind, no one comes out of this very well. http://c.newsnow.co.uk/A/971594542?-11209:804
So, if we can win the replay at Loftus Road, we will be at home in the 5th round against Premier League side Watford.
