Curtis delivers the ball from the left and Lowe is there at the back post to nod home and double Pompey's lead

    And Curtis again

    3-0

Curtis does brilliantly to bundle Sawyer off the ball and then beats Macey with a fierce shot from a tight angle

Goal difference of 2 keeping us off the top spot.

Although, plenty of time and games to go yet.

Cheers 3rd eye and Dev for good thread <ok>

Great atmosphere again at FP today. Two more goals from the superb Ronan Curtis - that's five now for the season in six matches - and a lovely header from an acute angle from Jamal Lowe - four goals in six matches for him. These two are fast becoming an excellent attacking outlet for us.

We thoroughly deserved the three points. Onwards and upwards !!

No complaints except the obviously biased homer Referee given the foul count............

I think we are going to struggle this season and it won't be like the last one. I think you may however at least be at Wembley at the end if not automatic.

Forgot to mention Wooperts that my day wasn't completely spoilt. Poor old Stewey Evans got a red. I'm gutted for him honest I am. He says it was for being half a yard outside his area. My advice is he loses the gut and then he won't have a problem. He neglected to say he was also probably giving it large at anyone and everyone at the same time.

Wow!! So proud of Pompey now. Reading the threads it seems as if the crucial difference between this season and last is the arrival of 4 players - Thompson from Millwall, Brown, the GK from Shrewsbury and Ronan Curtis. It seems there is more mobility in the attack with Lowe and Curtis bringing the goals whereas as last season the focus was on Pitman.

Finally, give Curtis and Lowe super long contracts and a price of 15m each to stop any predators in the January window.
