Full time score is 1-1. We could have had another penalty just before the end, when Ronan Curtis appeared to be fouled in the box by Daniel Agyei. Once more - nothing given by Gavin Ward !
The game was televised Downunder. The result was more disappointing than the performance. I was amazed that Naylor did not start but have to say that for the first 30 minutes the McGeehan - Morris - Cannon mid field was more assured in possession than Pompey have usually been in the few games and highlights I see. I thought in Naylor's absence Pompey may miss out on 50 -50 balls but this did not seem to be the case. I was impressed with Harrison's effort. Would have been nice to take a lead into the 2nd leg but given Pompey edged the game in all but the scoresheet I feel that they go into the 2nd leg with a 50 - 50 chance despite losing home advantage. Given the closeness of results in the League and our cup, and now this, I feel this will go to penalties and PFC will win on penalties. (Fingers crossed) We have to break our play-off hoodoo soon, and Millwall would like us to join them in the Championship as it has been far too long since the last meeting
