    A good result but a very bad news about Danny Rose.
    According to the reports Adam May did well when he came on but I imagine him as a similar type if player to Ben Close and , longer term, I feel one of the mid field pairing should be a 'ball winner' style of player. Do you think Evans would be suited to a more defensive mid-field role?

    If he's fit, he went off injured word is with a groin injury, if so he may be out for a while as well........ hopefully not though.

    Hi pdu - I reckon Nathan Thompson could play well there, but then, we would need another right back !! Hopefully, we can try and sign a tall powerfull ball winner during the January transfer window.

    I live in Mallorca but I feel there is something diferent about PFC that I have never felt before. There is a manager who will not tolerate failure, likewise the Chairman. We have to go all out for promotion,but if it is the play-offs I think it will be enjoyable for both the club and fans

    A win but at a cost - the ref was a plum - he almost tried to do another drop ball not long after poor Danny was crocked - I think a few players from both sides made him think again. A really good performance and MoM was again difficult - so many of the team really playing well - Donohue was excellent yesterday. Ides I think you may be right - it is still the hallway point but I will admit to being a mid table safety voter till the last few games - there is an underlying ethos and strength in this team, KJ is doing a sterling job and so are the players - the Academy guys who have stepped up have really been excellent. So who knows - play offs are now something we should aim for. Best wishes to Danny Rose and a Happy New Year to all who post on this or any other Not606 thread.
