Bad news about Rodriguez. Was I alone among the blue fraternity wanting Saints to win. I would rather Liverpool win the title regardless of any payout we may get, but £1M made me actually want them to get a result. I hang my head in shame.
I agree LFH, no-one wants to see a player injured like that, especially as he could miss out on the world cup. The decision that led to Man Citeh's 2nd was a big mistake by the Lino, but I do think his view of the deflected pass, was obscured by a Southampton defender and he must have thought that the first touch was the only one which meant it wasn't offside from his point of view, if he'd seen the second touch he surely would have flagged. I don't agree that it changed the game to the extent that the result would have been different, they were run ragged in the second half and it could have been a much worse scoreline than "Old Faithful" I had to laugh at some of the comments, on Southampton's board though, especially the one saying, "Man City are diving cheats (that's probably true of all clubs!) who have bought success!" Honestly!
I still believe and WE WILL stay up and go on to the higher leagues, maybe not the PL the way we are structured but maybe if in the Championship we can attract a proper wealthy owner PUP
