Are you at the game Woopert's and texting as you go along from your sophisticated mobile, or listening to the commentary on the radio/internet? With the score 0-0 looks like a match of precious little fun for those who chose to endure the fun. Different team, same old problems it seems.

I have been reading the comment in The News and many of those are negative regarding Mr Cook. Does he really not listen or try anything different or is it a bit of anti-Cook hysteria?

It's 1-0 now to Pompey, Ides. 35 yarder from Kal Naismith.

I'm not at the match, listening at home to live commentary on the radio, plus following both the Portsmouth News site, and official PFC site.

Final whistle, and it's a 1-0 win for Pompey :1980_boogie_down:

If Reading under 23's beat Yeovil tomorrow night, then it's all down to goal difference as to whether Pompey progress any further in this exciting trophy :)

Unfortunately, nothing much has changed from last season with regards to our style of play, not helped by Paul Cook's choice of only playing one up front. Tonight, not long after he brought on a second striker, we improved our attacking play, and hence won the match. Coincidence ? I don't personally think so !

Let's see what happens on Saturday at home to Mansfield.
